Building 1 — the inside story
If Building 1's exterior was last update's headline, this time it's all about what's happening within those walls. Four separate workstreams are running simultaneously inside, and together they're transforming a shell into something that genuinely feels like a place you'd want to stay.
01A
Interior painting
Room by room, the interior walls are being painted. Color and light are doing their work — the spaces are coming to life in a way that no floor plan or rendering ever quite captures. The palette we've chosen feels warm and grounded, letting the surrounding natural beauty lead rather than compete with it.
01B
Electrical wiring
Wiring is actively underway throughout Building 1. Every outlet, light fixture, and connection point is being carefully routed and installed — the kind of work that has to be done right the first time, because once the walls are sealed and the tiles are set, there's no going back. Our team is taking it seriously.
01C
Verandah tiling
Out on the verandahs, tiles are being laid one by one. These outdoor spaces are where guests will sip their morning coffee, watch the sun rise over the water, and simply exhale. Getting the tile right — level, clean, and beautiful — sets the tone for the entire room experience that follows.
01D
Bathroom tile work
The bathrooms are where the real artistry is happening right now. Tile work is ongoing, and the detail is extraordinary. We've sourced hand-painted tiles featuring traditional Spanish patterns — intricate, colorful, and full of character. No two tiles are exactly alike, which means no two bathrooms will feel mass-produced. This was a deliberate choice, and it shows.
A DESIGN NOTE WORTH SHARING Why hand-painted Spanish tiles? In a world of generic hotel bathrooms, we wanted ours to feel like something discovered rather than designed. Hand-painted Spanish tiles carry centuries of craft tradition — every geometric pattern and sun-faded glaze tells a story. When guests step into their bathroom at Casa Pisces, we want them to pause for a moment and notice something beautiful. That's the intention, and these tiles deliver it. |

Building 2 — concrete poured, walls rising
Since our last update, Building 2 has crossed a major threshold: the foundation has been poured and the walls are now actively going up. There is something deeply satisfying about watching a building rise — what was rebar and open sky just weeks ago is now taking on height, shape, and permanence. The pace of Building 2 is everything we hoped for, and it remains on track to mirror Building 1 in every detail that matters.
03
Building 3 — piles driven, foundation imminent
Building 3 is wasting no time. The piles have been fully driven into the ground, establishing the structural anchors that everything else will stand on. Next up: the foundation and walls, which will begin very soon. The fact that we have three buildings in active, overlapping stages of construction is a testament to the team on the ground and the planning that has gone into this project from day one.
With every update, Casa Pisces looks a little more like the place we set out to build — and a little less like a construction site. We're not there yet, but we can see it clearly from here. Check back soon for more progress, and as always, thank you for following along.
