Paint is dry, tiles are set, and now the carpenters have moved in. Building 1 is entering its most personal phase yet, while Building 2 reaches up toward its second floor. Here's where things stand.

Building 1 — the carpenters have arrived at Casa Pisces

Painting is complete. Both inside and out, Building 1 now wears its finished colors — and with that chapter closed, the focus has shifted entirely to the interior woodworking. Carpenters are actively building out the rooms: closets, storage, and corner moulding are being crafted and fitted, piece by piece.

This is the stage that separates a well-built space from a truly well-considered one. Moulding, joinery, and built-in storage are details that guests may not consciously notice — but they absolutely feel. A closet that's the right depth. A corner that's clean and crisp rather than roughly finished. Storage that actually makes sense for how people live out of a suitcase. These are the decisions being made right now, and they matter more than most people realize.

A craft worth mentioning

Why woodwork is the soul of a room

In the tropics, wood does something to a space that no other material quite replicates — it brings warmth against stone and tile, texture against painted walls, and a sense of permanence that feels hand-made rather than assembled. The built-ins going into Building 1's rooms aren't afterthoughts; they're part of the room's character. When guests open a closet or run a hand along a finished corner, that's the craftsmanship they're meeting.

Tiling — complete throughout

Interior & exterior painting — complete

Doors & windows — installed

Interior woodwork — closets, moulding & storage underway

Fixtures, furniture & final sign-off

What's next

Once the woodworking is complete, the final installations — furniture, fixtures, and finishing touches — are all that remain before Building 1 is ready to welcome its first guests.

02

Building 2 — Casa Pisces is heading upward

Building 2 has now completed every wall on the first floor — both the outer shell and all interior room-dividing walls are fully in place. The structure is solid, the layout is defined, and the building is ready to grow. The casting of the second-floor cement slab is actively underway, which means the ceiling of the first floor and the foundation for the second floor are being formed right now.

It's a pivotal moment. Once that slab is poured and cured, the second floor becomes the new frontier — walls going up, rooms taking shape, and Building 2 stepping into the same finishing journey that Building 1 is now deep in. The pace has been consistent and strong, and there's every reason to expect the second floor to rise just as quickly as the first.

Foundation poured

All first-floor outer & inner walls — complete

2nd floor cement slab — being cast now

2nd floor walls — coming very soon

Interior finishes — tiling, painting, woodwork

What's next

The slab pour will be followed almost immediately by second-floor wall construction. By the next update, Building 2 should be visibly two stories tall.

Building 1 is within touching distance of completion. Building 2 is about to reach its full height. Every update we write, the picture of Casa Pisces becomes a little clearer — and a little closer to the day we open the doors for real.

We'll be back soon with what may be our most exciting update yet.
