Furniture on the island, rebar installed — the final pieces are falling into place

The latest Casa Pisces Ambergris Caye construction update covers four active fronts — and for the first time, one of them includes handcrafted Belizean hardwood furniture sitting on the island, ready and waiting for the last tile work to be finished before it finds its home.

01

Building 1 — furniture arrived, final tile work underway

The custom-made Belizean hardwood furniture has made the journey from the mainland and arrived on Ambergris Caye. That's a milestone worth acknowledging — but before a single piece goes into a room, we're finishing the last of the tile work that needs to be done first. Getting the sequence right matters: furniture goes in once the surfaces it will live alongside are truly complete, not before.

These are the final finishing touches, and they won't take long. Once the tile work is signed off, the furniture installation follows immediately — and after that, AC units go in, the last details are dressed, and Building 1's rooms will be ready for professional photography and marketing within the month. We are genuinely days away from rooms that are ready to be seen.

WHAT'S NEXT

Tile work completes, furniture is installed, AC units go in, and Building 1's rooms are photographed and launched to the world. The next update should have images.

02

Building 2 — final plaster on, tiles and electrical next

Building 2 is receiving its final coat of plaster right now — the last layer of smooth render before the real visual work begins. Once this coat is done and cured, tile work and electrical installations will begin simultaneously throughout the building. These are the stages that Building 1 has already been through, and watching them unfold in Building 2 will feel very familiar — except this time we know exactly how close the finish line really is on the other side of them.

WHAT'S NEXT

Final plaster cures, and tiling and electrical begin. Building 2 is entering the home stretch.

03

Building 3 — foundation rebar laid, ready to pour

Building 3 is moving quickly and deliberately. The form boards are in position and the rebar is actively being placed in preparation for the foundation cast. Once the steel is set and the pour happens, the lower-level walls will go up — and given that this building is identical in design to Buildings 1 and 2, the team has a significant advantage. They have built this exact building twice already. The measurements are known, the sequence is familiar, and the decisions have all been made before. That experience translates directly into speed, and we

expect Building 3 to progress faster than either of its predecessors.

WHAT'S NEXT

Rebar placement wraps up, the foundation is poured, and Building 3 begins its rise. With the team's experience on identical builds, the pace should be brisk.

04

Pool club & restaurant — bathrooms in, opening in sight

The pool club is down to its final details. Bathroom facilities are actively underway — toilets have been installed and the rest of the fit-out is following. Meanwhile, the restaurant itself is on track to be fully finalized this month, which brings the licensing inspection that much closer. Once the relevant authorities have inspected and approved the space, Casa Pisces will be licensed and ready to serve — a milestone that signals not just a completed building, but an operational hospitality business open for guests.

Bar — complete, including bartop, lights & shutters

Storage — complete

Bathroom facilities — underway, toilets installed

Restaurant finalization — this month

Licensing inspection & approval

The furniture is on the island. The tile work finishing it off won't take long. Building 2 is on its last coat of render. Building 3's foundation is almost ready to pour. And the restaurant is days from being inspection-ready. Casa Pisces is not just a construction project anymore — it is a place almost ready to open its doors. The next update may well come with photographs. Stay tuned.
