Casa Pisces Ambergris Caye Construction Update — Lights, Roofs & Four Buildings in Motion
Casa Pisces Ambergris Caye is entering a new phase — one where Building 1 glows with its first installed lights, Building 2's roof is being cast overhead, and a fourth building has officially joined the construction site. Here is where everything stands.

Building 1 — the lights are on
Building 1 has reached a milestone that is small in scope and significant in feeling: the lighting fixtures are in and the lights are on. After months of structural work, tiling, painting, woodwork, and hardware installations, seeing these rooms illuminated for the first time is a moment that is hard to put into words. Light does something to a finished space that no walkthrough in the daytime quite captures — it reveals the depth of the tile work, the warmth of the hardwood, the care that has gone into every surface. Building 1 is ready. It is waiting for its furniture, and then its first guests.

◦Furniture arrival & final setup
WHAT'S NEXT
Furniture delivery is imminent. Once those handcrafted Belizean hardwood pieces are in place, Building 1 is complete.
02
Building 2 — the roof is being cast
Building 2 is closing in on its full structural form. The roof slab is actively being cast right now — concrete being poured across the top of a building that has come a very long way in a short time. Once this pour is complete and cured, Building 2 will be fully enclosed: foundation to rooftop, every wall in place, sealed against the elements and ready for the interior finishing work to begin. Tiling, painting, woodwork, and fixtures — the same sequence that transformed Building 1 into the space it is today — await on the other side of this pour.
✓All first & second floor walls — complete
✓Second-floor pillars, posts & beams — complete

◦Interior finishes — tiling, painting, woodwork
WHAT'S NEXT
Roof cures, interior work begins. Building 2's finishing stretch is just around the corner.
03
Building 3 — pylons set, foundation coming
Building 3 continues its steady climb. The concrete and steel pylons are fully in the ground, and the foundation cement casting is coming soon. Every time we've watched this transition happen on this site — from pylons to foundation, from foundation to walls — it has moved faster than expected. We have no reason to think Building 3 will be any different.

◦Foundation cast — coming soon
◦Wall construction — to follow

Building 4 — a new front opens
We are pleased to introduce Building 4 to this blog for the first time. Pylon installation is actively underway, and the same proven process that has carried three buildings from empty ground to rising structures is beginning again. Four buildings now on one active construction site is a statement about the pace and ambition of this project — and about what Casa Pisces is becoming.

EN ROUTE TO AMBERGRIS CAYE
The furniture is on its way
The handcrafted hardwood furniture made on the Belizean mainland is now in transit to Ambergris Caye. Each piece — built from local Belizean hardwood, varnished for a beautiful and lasting finish — was made specifically for the rooms of Casa Pisces. When they arrive and are placed inside Building 1's lit, tiled, and painted rooms, this project will have its first fully finished, guest-ready space. We cannot wait to share what that looks like.
Four buildings. Furniture crossing the water. Lights burning in Building 1 for the first time. Every update we write, Casa Pisces looks more like the hotel it was always meant to be. The next update will be one to remember — stay with us.
